There are 3 possible workarounds: Wait for the launcher to update. Run the [HOST] file in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Victoria 3\launcher. Uninstall the Paradox Launcher v2, and run the game through Steam. doppiedoppie Vanilla CK3 works fine, EK2 can’t get past initializing game? It takes a while to load. Like 15 to 20 minutes.
