Ostriches are tall tamable mobs found in the Overworld. Ostriches spawn on grass and in deserts at light levels of 9 or more with at least 2 block space above. They often spawn in flocks of during world generation. Flocks can either come with males, females or chicks. There is a small chance of an albino ostrich spawning. However, after discussing mods with others last night, I realised that without it, Mo Wyverns are tamable dragon-like mobs that live in in the Wyvern Lair. Wyverns spawn naturally on any opaque block in light levels of 9 or above in the Wyvern Lair. Common wyverns are at least blocks long and blocks tall. Mother wyverns and tier 2 wyverns are about blocks long and blocks tall. When killed, wyverns will drop: Spoiled Egg The mobs are still invisible when I use the default texture.
