It's that time of year folks, the 7th Deus 9ft & Single, presented by SurfStitch is fast approaching. So grab your calendar and pencil it in. This year on the first weekend of June (1st-4th) we have got an action packed schedule for you to participate in, both as a spectator and a competitor. Here are some images and the mini-documentary This was a year of firsts for the Deus 9 Foot & Single festival. Not only were a flock of female cross-steppers dominating the Canggu river mouth, we also held our first annual Under 9 Foot & Single division. We decided to run the spur of the moment shortboard division because we’d (somehow) found ourselves with a bit of extra time. Wow, yesterday was perfect! After organizing and planning this event for quite some time, everything seemed to fall into place as the sun rose on Sunday morning for the first annual Deus '9ft & Single' longboard festival. As I arrived at the waters edge as dawn broke, people were already there, hustling and bustling to get everything Deus 9ft & Single Log, Art, Music and Film Fest, proudly supported by our great friends over at SurfStitch, has to be one of the funnest weekends we have all year. But let's face it it's the logging we're really here for. It's that weekend in May when we ask forty odd women and men to go surf a sucky right hand break on heavy old school logs
