Ive been playing sims for over a year now and all of a sudden the application wont open. When i click on sims 4 Origin opens but sims wont. Ive tried everything from repairing game, deleting the cache for origin, moving folders so the game creates new ones and deleting recently added mods, still nothing. ive never had any problems with mods I click on play through origin and it literally takes me back to Origin as if i never clicked play. When i click on the desktop it does nothing. My sims 4 icon is just a white flag. I tried renaming it and it doesnt do anything. I've been scrolling through these forums for the past 5 days trying to find a solution and NOTHING is working. I miss If you can run Origin, and most but not all players can, repair the game: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Repair. But if that’s not the issue, I’d uninstall the game and reinstall it if The farthest I've had to go is a soft reset (I think that's what they call it anyway) of the game, where I make a copy of my game file, pull them both out of the EA folder, and start the game with a new Sims 4 File. Then I delete that new one and put back the old one. What I've also done that seems to be working instead of going through those Welcome to the #1 subreddit for The Sims franchise and community!
