Verify all 3 game caches, let Arma 2 update, then launch Arma 2. Once launched, open the expansion menu, and check the one labeled "DayZ" and hit enable. Then relaunch the game, then close it, and finally launch DayZ and join a server. Worked for me! Think about it, no lag or flying cars, no bullet delay, and sound actually works. Hello, Iv searchd around for MANY resolutions on how to fix DayZ SA no sound.. They all tell me to reinstall direct x, check windows sound etcetc.. IV tried all of this, but Iv still got NO SOUND, does anyone have any good tips on how to fix it? (NOTE) - I have an OLD HDD, and do not want to reinstall windows as it will take a long time /r/dayz - Discuss and share content for DayZ, the post-apocalyptic open world survival game. Avoid the infected (not zombies), make friends with other players (or not). It’s the only game I own that does this so it’s not my sound settings.
