The nicest experience I had with Mo' Creatures is to not have a custom spawner at all. Just the vanilla spawner itself which has a very subtle mob spawning in my views. So you can try removing Custom Mob Spawner and set the gamerule domobspawning to true in your world because Custom Mob Spawner is setting this rule to false automatically I know this is the wrong forum as are most of my posts but I will get no answers in the modding section. I looked through the read me and the post and the only thing I could find was it saying to go to the Mo' [HOST]ties folder and rename the mob you dont want
